Start with the title you play. Rankings and launches stay inside that game so unrelated servers never compete.
Rankings players can understand
Toplands helps players compare private servers using consistent information, verified community votes, and paid placements that are always labelled.
From discovery to decision
Every game keeps its own ranking, launch calendar, and filters.
Chronicle, rates, playstyle, region, launch date, and verification status appear in a consistent format.
Eligible community votes contribute to the organic ranking for the selected period.
Ranking, advertising, and trust
Visibility can be purchased. Community position cannot.
Regular list positions are determined by valid community votes within each ranking period.
Banners, Featured cards, and highlighted listings are visually identified and remain separate from organic votes.
Ownership verification confirms control of the listed website. It is not an endorsement of gameplay quality.
Automated votes, misleading information, impersonation, and manipulated traffic can result in removal or suspension.
How protected voting works
The browser can display a timer, but only the server decides whether a vote is valid.
Every vote is submitted to a protected Cloud Function. reCAPTCHA Enterprise and Firebase App Check validate the request before the server-side cooldown and counters are evaluated.
Every submitted vote must include a fresh, limited-use App Check token backed by reCAPTCHA Enterprise. The Function rejects missing or reused verification.
The cooldown is enforced per server and hashed network address using a server timestamp. Clearing cookies, changing the browser clock, or reopening the page does not reset it.
The browser never writes vote totals directly. The protected Function checks App Check, network rate limits, and the cooldown before an atomic Firestore transaction.
The planned Vote API will use short-lived sessions so a verified vote can be claimed only once, preventing duplicate in-game rewards.
Only the final submission calls the write endpoint. Valid votes use a fixed transaction, rejected traffic is limited, and the voting Function has a maximum instance cap.
Tools for server owners
These are working areas, not just topics inside this guide.
Create and edit listings, upload images, and follow moderation status.
Advertising →Understand Featured banners, highlighted listings, and side-rail placements.
Vote API specification →Review the planned reward sessions and one-time claims that will build on the active voting system.
